The Galapagos Explorer II is a 293 foot ocean-going cruise ship, navigating the Galapagos Islands at a speed of 17 knots, enabling the passengers to see more of the Galapagos in less time. The ship also provides all the facilities and services to allow for a very comfortable expedition especially for children. With 53 air-conditioned external suites, each with private bathroom and small sitting area. Dining aboard consist of both international and Ecuadorian specialties.

Features include a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a solarium, a large conference room, a lounge, three bar areas with music, a boutique, and a reading room.

Six naturalist guides aboard lead daily shore excursions and offer nightly briefings to prepare passengers for the islands to be visited the next day.
